Mariesha Blazik, Principal
Mariesha Blazik, Principal of Blazik Consulting, is a nationally recognized expert in design and construction accessibility services since 2002.
Mariesha Blazik is founder and Principal of Blazik Consulting. She has served as ADA and FHA Accessibility Expert for the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights and Housing and Civil Enforcement Divisions and as Accessibility Expert for counsel representing Defendants on numerous ADA and FHA design and construction cases throughout the United States. Ms. Blazik has also served as an expert neutral for the U.S. Department of Justice Housing and Civil Rights Division on FHA design and construction cases.
Prior to Blazik Consulting, her experience was project management at premier commercial architectural firms, Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) and Gensler in New York, and was Visiting Adjunct Professor of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. Mariesha graduated with a Masters in Architecture from Princeton University, Bachelor of Architecture Professional Degree with Highest Honors from Pratt Institute. She is ICC International Code Council Certified Accessibility Inspector and Plans Examiner (CAI) and Associate Member of the NAAC National Association of Accessibility Consultants. She is a devoted mother of a teen athlete and enjoys international travel with her husband and son.
